  3. I hadn't thought of using podcasts as a means to read writing we had done in class. The Fryer article mentioned that podcasting student writing may help students develop a stronger sense of audience. I've been working a lot with trying to help students realize that their writing can and should go beyond the classroom, so a podcast may be a perfect vehicle. All of the articles are stuffed with good ideas. The challenge always comes in finding the time to enact the ideas!

  4. Hi Jane. Yes time is an issue sometimes especially for busy teachers. However, we can start by planning a simple podcast activity and improve it with each group each year. Some of them can even stay as a successful permanent activity as part of our syllabus.
